From our October 2020 workshop, it’s the final session of Act 1, scene 4 and Act 2, scene 4 from Shakespeare’s King Lear.
We continue rolling out these episodes from the past 12+ months of workshops we’ve been doing. If you’ve missed any presentations thus far, click here to find them all.
It was exciting to bring Tony Amendola into this round as he played the part of Lear at Utah Shakespeare Festival (pictured)—and in fact, his Gloucester was played by James Newcomb, another one of the actors and directors part of our workshops!
In addition, we have a wonderful actor and teacher, Elizabeth Dennehy, as Goneril. She is, in fact, Brian’s daughter and quite a talent in her own right!
I do have a plan to share more of these presentations; I just have hours and hours of amazing footage that I’m excited to share with all of you.
These presentations are available on the podcast and YouTube, and you can find both below. While there is a video component, since so much emphasis is on the text, I believe it’s still an excellent experience with the audio version.
