We had a fantastic time with The Winter’s Tale last month and now onto Shakespeare’s MACBETH!

Artist Bios – folks coming from LA, Florida, and Hawaii!
J. Paul Nicholas has worked off-Broadway, in regional theatre and national tours, and on TV/film. He has won two Barrymore Awards and received his MFA from The Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University. Directing credits include The Merry Wives of Windsor (The Treehouse Theatre), Hamlet and The Tempest (M.I.T. Shakespeare), and several other regional shows. Website.
Dr. Philippa Kelly is resident dramaturg for the California Shakespeare Theater and for Napa Shakes. Other dramaturgy credits include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Aurora Theater, and Word for Word. Philippa is Chair and Professor of English at the California Jazz Conservatory, and professor at various University of California campuses including Berkeley and Santa Cruz. Website.
Paul Bernardo has worked extensively in regional theater and has appeared in numerous industrials and commercials as well as independent and feature films. For Orlando Shakespeare, he has played Brutus twice, Claudius, Polixenes, Antigonus, Duke Vincentio, and Banquo. Paul also received his MFA from The Academy of Classical Actingand is a founding member of the Upstart Creatures theater company in NYC.
Nick Cagle began his career at 11 when he was cast in his first professional stage play at The Laguna Playhouse, and soon after, he began to work in television and film. He trained at The Boston Conservatory and at LAMDA. After graduating he landed roles on MTV, HBO and with SONY Online Entertainment and performed at multiple regional theaters in California.
Steven Sean Garland has worked in both film and TV, along with extensive stage credits that include legit as well as musical theater. His most recent on-screen appearances include A Friend of the Family (Peacock), The Outsider (HBO), Three Months (MTV Films), and Andrew Dean’s Fronteras (Vertical Entertainment). Website.
