Virtual Shakespeare Workshop Registration opens July 22 at 12 pm PT

What if your scene partner were a professional actor?

How might that up your game and what might you learn from someone who has been working for decades?

Well now you can make that happen. We’re opening up registration on Wednesday, July 22nd at 12 pm PT for a series of Virtual Shakespeare Workshops to happen in August 2020.

As part of the workshop, you’ll be cast in a scene with a professional director and 1-2 professional actors, have weekly rehearsals, and you’ll get a text session with a professional dramaturg who specializes in Shakespeare’s works. With only 3-4 actors in each scene, there’s plenty of personal attention. Plus: there’s a final performance where you can invite friends and family to see your work!

Our roster of professional actors include guests from the show Robert Pine, Tony Amendola, Anne Gee Byrd, and Peter Van Norden, along with other industry veterans James Newcomb, Elizabeth Dennehy, and Marcelo Tubert.

We all know it’s going to be a while before acting as a profession returns to normal. So take this time to develop your skills, work with professionals, and have the experience of a lifetime! This project brings actors together across generations and—especially now—across distances.

There’s limited space, so learn more and register early!

Oh—and premium members of the show have early access to register a full day before everyone else, plus discounted admission! Membership starts at just $2/month.

I am very thrilled to bring this opportunity to you; I know firsthand what an amazing chance it is to work alongside such talented artists! I hope to see you part of these workshops—and with any luck, we’ll be doing this a lot more.
